View document preview in results

When looking at search results, we can see the beginning of each document or else the first couple of search hits displayed right in the results grid.

To enable document preview

  1. Click on the document preview icon beside the column selector icon at the top right of your result grid to enable it
  2. Here is what you'll see:
    1. If you have full text search terms, you will see excerpts from the first two pages that contains your search terms with those search terms highlighted
    2. If you don't have any full text search terms, you will see the first few lines of text at the beginning of each document
  3. You may want to use the Hide/Show Criteria option to hide criteria in order to allow more viewing space for your result list
    1. When you click on Hide Criteria , it will collapse your criteria panel and this link will change to Show Criteria
    2. When you click on Show Criteria , it will restore your criteria panel and this link will change to Hide Critiera
