Export results to Excel or CSV

Avantis allows you to export your entire result set as an Excel or CSV file.   Copying with headers allows you to select only particular rows you’d like to copy to excel while ignoring others.   Below are step by step instructions as well as a video to get you exporting your results grid and copying with headers.

To export part of all of your results grid as a new spreadsheet

1.      Select some or all items in your result grid using the checkboxes or else the Select All checkbox
2.      Click on the ellipsis on the upper right of your results grid and choose Export
3.      Choose your desired file type
4.      Your results will automatically download as a self-contained spreadsheet, according to the preferred location set in your browser settings
5.      When you open your results, you will have to click on Enable Editing and you will be presented with your live spreadsheet
6.      The last column will contain a hypertext Link that will link you to the document in Avantis when clicked
   

To copy part or all of your result grid to an existing spreadsheet



1.      Select some or all items in your result grid using the checkboxes or else the Select All checkbox
2.      Once all desired rows are selected, right click on any of these rows and choose Copy with Headers
3.      Open Excel (or other) spreadsheet program and paste into any cell
4.      Selected rows will appear along with column headers
