Extract issuer lists from document search results
There are times when you are looking at a set of documents or records and would like to generate a list of issuers you can search against in the future, based on the filers represented in your result list. Avantis gives you the power to create Issuer Lists directly from search results from searches run in any database. The below method will work to extract Issuer Lists from searches in:
- Filings
- News
- Insider Transactions
- Audit Fees
- Auditor Change

Extracting Issuer Lists From Document Search Results
- Run a search in Filings, News, Insider Transactions, Audit Fees, or Auditor Change
- Use the checkbox beside the line items in your results (or else use the "Select All" checkbox) to select the Issuer Names you'd like to add to a list
- Right click and choose "Add x issuers to list - Select lists..."
- Select an Issuer List from the popup or else type a name and click on Create new to create a new list to add to
- Select your target list using the checkbox
- Click on "Select"
- Use your Issuer List in any kind of search you'd like (see Use Issuer lists in searches of any dataset for steps and video illustrating how to add Issuer Lists to searches)
