How to share issuer lists and result folders for Admins


NOTE:  Please start by becoming familiar with the information in this article - Sharing Lists and Folders - as all the information contained in it applies to all users, including Admins.

In addition to the fact that Admins are automatically assigned Admin Share Roles when they are added to Folder and List shares, they also have the ability to make Lists public (as opposed to private) so that all members can access and use them without anyone having to share with them specifically.

To set a list to public

  1. Locate the folder or list you want to set to public by clicking into the appropriate dropdown in the document/record folder (like Filing Folder, for example) or Issuer List among your criteria to display all available lists of that type (if you're not sure where these lists or folders are located, please see the first screenshot on this page - Sharing Lists and Folders)
  2. Click on the share icon beside the list you want to make public (see Sharing Lists and Folders for screenshot)
  3. Change the Privacy setting to "Public" 
  4. Click on "Save"
