Results Grid

Here are the features of your result grid.  Being familiar with these will help you get the most out of the time spent analyzing and organizing your results.  Clicking on any result will open the document viewer.

  1. Active List  - click here to choose a list as your active list so you can add or remove results from your list by clicking the + or – buttons
  2. Grouping – allows you to group and multi-group results based on any criteria included as a column.  Similar to pivot tables but much easier.  This may be the clearest way to assess the types of results received from any search
  3. Choosing columns – allows you to choose which columns to display in the grid in which order.
  4. Pages Navigation – allows you to navigate to any page of your results
  5. Clear view time history - The view time is that last time that you viewed this document or record. Clicking this will give you the option to clear your view time history for this dataset or only for the records you select by clicking the check box in each row before clicking the clear view history button.
  6. Menu – to access more features such as download selected items to zip folder, export grid to excel, adjust the number of records displayed per page
  7. Select boxes – to select items for export (as a grid) or download (for full text PDFs)
  8. Previously viewed indicator - lets you know that you have already viewed the document or record
  9. Rank – rates documents based on how closely they match your search with “1” being the highest rank
  10. Number of results – changes as you filter your list
  11. Global Results Filter – allows for filtering across all columns simultaneously - typing into this field will find the typed term in any row and column in your result list
  12. Results page navigation - allows you to navigate the pages of results
  13. Download PDF and launch document in new browser tab - allows you to download a single PDF or view the PDF in a new browser tab.
  14. Sorting – allows you to sort and multi-sort results based on any criteria included as a column
  15. Filtering – allows you to filter results based on any criteria included as a column
