SEDI Insider Trades

Avantis allows you to search all insider trades and transactions using a number of criteria, and also contains Inside Profiles.  For SEDI transactions, all fields on the SEDI site are displayable and searchable inside of Avantis.

  To search Insider Transactions

1.      Select the Insider Transactions module

2.      Add criteria by clicking on + Add Criteria on the upper left, under the “Search insider name…” toolbar

3.      Expand criteria headings to expose criteria within them and click on any criteria you’d like to add to your search       

a.      Insider transaction related criteria are housed under the heading Transactions

4.      Select criteria values

5.      Click search

6.      Your result grid has the same columns as you would see on a SEDI report on sedi.ca but you can modify it using your Column Chooser on the upper right       

             (see Selecting and Sorting Columns )

7.      Click into any result to see it displayed on the right in document view format

a.      At the top of your Transaction Detail is an Insider Profile area that displays the insider’s Insider Number and Insider Relationship, among other details

8.      Export your list of results if desired, or print the document view (to PDF or to your physical printer) format of any Transaction Detail

9.      Click on the issuer name above the Transaction Detail to see the enhanced company profile

10.   Click on the x on the upper right in the enhanced company profile in order to return to the Transaction Detail
