View History in your results grid
Whenever you view a document in Avantis, it will automatically be marked with a pair of eyeglasses to indicate to you that you've already seen it.

View Time in your results grid

View Time is a column that can be added to your results grid (see the screen shot above) to see the exact date and time stamp showing when you last viewed each document.
  1. You can sort and filter according to the View Time column to retrace your steps

View Time as a search criteria

The ability to add View Time as a criteria to your search is a very powerful feature that allows you to pick up where you left off previously, or else to audit your work, or to retrace your steps.  As examples:
  1. Adding View Time to an ~Issuer~ search you can see all the filings from that particular issuer that you viewed on a certain date or before, after, or between certain dates
  2. Adding View Time to an ~Industry [SEDAR]~ search allows you to see all the filings by filers in a certain industry that you viewed on a certain date or before, after, or between certain dates
  3. Adding View Time to a ~Document Category~ (previously called ~Filing Category~) search allows you to see all the filings of a certain type that you viewed on a certain date or before, after, or between certain dates
  4. These are only examples but we invite you to add View Time to your searches in any creative ways that meet your objectives

Clearing your entire View History

Whenever you want to clear ALL your view history for a given dataset, simply click on the Clear View History icon on the upper right of your result grid (see the screen shot above) and this will clear your ENTIRE view history for that dataset
  1. proceed with caution when deleting your entire View History, as this will remove the ability to audit any work, or retrace any steps you've already done

Clearing specific documents from your View History

Whenever you want to remove the View History indicator from a particular document or group of documents, simply select the documents in question using the checkboxes in the leftmost column, and then  click on the Clear View History icon on the upper right of your result grid (see the screen shot above)
  1. PRO TIP:  You can run searches to retrieve all the documents you've viewed based on issuer, industry, document category, or any other search criteria and select from among them the specific documents you'd like to clear view history from so they will show up as not previously viewed
