Sort search results on multiple columns

Avantis allows you to sort, multi-sort, filter, and group your rows based on the values in their various columns.   We suggest you pay special attention to Grouping Your Search Results (see Grouping Your Search Results ).   Below are step by step instructions as well as a video to get you started with Results Sorting.

To sort your results    

1.      Click on the column header of any row by which you’d like to sort your results

2.      Click a second time to sort in the opposite order

3.      You may choose to hold down your shift button while clicking a second column to multi-sort by this second column

4.      Multi sorting works by sorting firstly by the first column selected (marked with a number 1) and then among the results that have identical values in that first column, they will be sorted secondarily by the values in the second column (marked with a number 2)

5.      You can multi-sort by numerous columns, not only by two of them
